If you’re wondering where to find beautiful trench coats that won’t break your budget this season let me share my experience with Debenhams. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the launch of the british retailer here in Australia showcasing all it’s clothing and accessories range, think everything from swimwear to evening gowns from selected designers. And…. I’ve also had the pleasure of experiencing shopping at their aussie dedicated website. While there was a beautiful selection of spring and summer dresses, with winter in full swing I had to go for proper outwear, and as soon as I saw this beautiful baby blue trench I settled on it, featuring one of the Pantone Colours for 2016, though it was a great addition to light up cold days rather than the usual beige and camel tones often seen with this type of coat. I was surprised to find out that it’s waterproof as well. You might thing all trench coats should be waterproof but truth is not all of them are, I just remembered two nights ago when dining out I had a clumsy moment, thankfully these stains were easy to remove.
Besides the price friendly items, you’ll find great deals with the sales and offers section, where I spotted this mini skirt from Designer Henry Holland. My garments arrived in about two weeks and they were identical to what was offered on the site. When selecting your garment be careful with your exact measurements, as it displays both the AU and UK system, but the size guide below the product displays sizing from other countries which can also be helpful.
And this is how I styled my pieces, as part of a pastels and neutrals outfit for winter days here in Sydney, but given that this coat is lightweight and waterproof, I find it a multi season wardrobe basic, also suitable for those rainy summer days…
