As a stylist, inspiration comes from different sources, the street, runways, everyday people. It is crucial to be ahead of the curve, catching hints and insight as far as image goes, including brides, so when I heard there was a wedding fair in town of course I had to see it. One Fine Day, is an event that every year gathers a curated selection of designers and services tailored for weddings, offering a landscape of options and inspiration for couples planning their special day. This year the fair displayed a welcoming, insightful and inspiring schedule, not just for those who will soon tie the knot, but also for those interested in the latest bridal event trends.
I have to say the runway was quite a highlight, and although we saw superb gowns with intricate detailing it was also refreshing to spot some relaxed and somewhat understated trends, – don’t get me wrong, there were outstanding creations, but also proposals for a practical, modern and at ease bride.
On stage, the garments by sought after designers and labels in this field stood out with their finesse and majestic allure, such as Anna Campbell, Mira Mandic, Alana Aoun, Fiona Claire, Sant Elia among others, here are a few catwalk moments to describe the best of the day….
I had the pleasure of attending with Jenny Wong from See Taste Do who made this day even more enjoyable!
